As sinners who are saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we want to grow in that grace. We do this corporately through the teaching of the Word in weekly fellowship, community groups within homes, and discipleship relationships. Individually, we seek to read God's Word, seek Him in prayer, and read great theology. Our vertical relationship with God will cause us then to extend grace outward to one another and to our culture.
At TRCC, we seek to equip the saints for the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:12), and strongly believe that all believers are ministers and ambassadors for Christ. We have opportunities for serving our neighbors through the church, but also believe in every member being on mission with God at work, at the store, and right where they live. Evangelism itself is not an optional program offered by the church, but is integral to who we are as Christ followers. We are passionate about creating a culture of evangelism and discipleship.
This happens foremost in the context of the local church through parenting, Titus 2 relationships and leader development. As disciples grow in maturity and a heart to see the manifest wisdom of God spread among the nations, church planting will follow.
Simply, we believe the New Testament model for church growth happens through planting churches. As a church grows, it always should be praying towards this end. This is both local, where existing churches plant autonomous partner churches, and global, where all missions point to raising up new churches.
